Judy causing more harm, division and hate than anyone? I think she and Gary are pretty even on that.
In my opinion, Judy has a lot of nerve saying who can and can not write about the band. There is something called the freedom of speech. Band members have the right to tell about their time in the band. Judy may be Ronnie's voice concerning some Skynyrd things but she should not have a say if someone wants to share about their time with the band. I am looking forward to Artimus and Ed's books.

She's a bit late with her threats. Arti has already given his opinion of her on his Artimus Venomous album, for anyone who cares to listen. "Dead rock star widows, gigolos, pocket money". I think it gives a pretty clear idea of where he stands. I don't know if she tried to stop it, but the album came out with the song still included.

There is no way she sues, a good attorney will tell her to keep her stupid mouth shut. False testimony during deposition and discovery results in an awful quick trip to the ol' Grey Bar Hotel. Also, opposing counsel can ask any question, delving into any subject he/she wishes, and the answers had damned better well be true.

There will be a tell ALL at some point.... I cant believe the true story is not out.... And I believe Judy is now circling the wagons with Gary on board. They both want the same thing now and will ally with each other until Gary dies unless a rupture occurs, but with the money Judy is willing to share around now to get her way... unreal! So yes, Tim, Judy and Gary can not stop what is coming... numerous unauthorized stories let's hope since the "authorized" sucks!

Are they not getting too old for all this drama. The true picture is just not what those 2 agenda driven skynyrd hangerons want everyone to see or believe. My gosh, just go retire. Johnny gets up and professes that "they" have an album ready. Who gives a damn.... Not a sole is waiting with baited breath for 1 note from some damn replacement Cover Band. Give it a last bow and head to the damn house, already.

I wonder if Melody or Tammy would waste all this time and money trying to stop projects and this and that when Judy is no longer walking this earth.

Of course she can/will sue. When you have money (courtesy of the fans) and the target doesn't, she can do it as often as she wants. Who will pay for the opposing counsel? Just the mere threat of litigation was enough to sink Arti's book.

Yes, because they have lawyers who will tell them to sue. Note that Allen's and Steve's daughters were among the people trying to block Arti's film. Also, when Gary is gone, we still have Dale and she will sue on behlaf of her husband's estate.

Those poor kids know what time it is very well themselves. I bet both of them cant wait for the drama to go away. Likely for the first times in their lives...

Or, did they slip him a $20 spot and send him to the bank. come on....

I'm Familiar and from Texas almost 40 years.. Look at all the books that have been written about Clinton, Hillary, and so on. About Anybody. Not just political. Artimus can write a book if he wants. They have the right to sue him later. However, nobody wins those lawsuits. The world is full of books written about someone and someone else says that says the book is 100% false.

The only winners are the lawyers. If you want to help fund a potential $500k legal bill for Artimus - double if he loses and has to pay Judy's bills - I'm sure he would be grateful. She had the film company's accounts frozen after her initial victory. Comparisons with other subjects are not valid as there is no consent decree.

I understand about the Consent Decree. But was that not the subject of the case with the movie to begin with? And on appeal, the original ruling was overturned.

The consent decree was not overturned, unfortunately. If you dig up the appellate verdict, you'll see the judges could have gone either way.
