There are a few members on here that keep in touch with Artimus. Maybe one of them can find out.

One of the news articles about the film mentioned that Artimus contributed original music to the soundtrack. The soundtrack and the DVD are supposed to come out June 30th.

The movie was being shown at independent theaters. June 30 I believe it was supposed to be available for sale.

I hope NONE of that soundtrack sounds like or resembles the Fenwicks in any way! Gawd that band was horrible! What was Artimus thinking??? Wait, its coming to me... that band was for him and his sons to perform together for first time- and daughters.
You know, it makes no sense to me why Artimus can't use Skynyrd music. It seems like anyone else who wants to make a movie can use Skynyrd music in their movies but when a real Skynyrd member wants to use his own friggin' music he is denied? Makes no sense to me.

In my opinion Judy and Gary probably wanted to punish Artimus. After all they lost the lawsuit. This was an opportunity to make more money. But because Judy and Gary do not support the film they denied the inclusion of the Skynyrd music.

Looks like he could use at least one of the songs he created the drum parts for? I don't understand it either. That's just being spiteful on J & G's part.

It's a low-budget movie. I doubt the filmmakers even considered using Skynyrd originals. If any other low-budget indies have licensed Skynyrd material I'd be interested to know. Artimus' son, Chris, contributed a great song. Let him have the spotlight.

Even the movie "Sweet Home Alabama", with Reese Witherspoon, didn't use the Skynyrd version. Jewel did her version.

Absolutely if Artimus' kids have tunes they've recorded. Absolutely. That would be awesome. SkynyrdKids...

Chris' song is called Black Creek, and it's all about Skynyrd and the crash. It's credited to his band Chappell. It comes from a CD called SouthernFriedTribalBoogie, which is quite heavy sounding. It used to be sold via CDBaby, but it seems CDBaby doesn't have a store anymore. I can't find it anywhere online now. Definitely worth looking for. Maybe Chris sells it from a FB page.

I got to see another clip though, the one with all the nudity backstage. They really seem to make Billy out to be a horn dog of sorts. I've lovingly dubbed him "Hands" Powell for the time being. That not only covers his superb piano work, but also his breast feelers as well. Can we buy it yet? where did you see this clip?
