3458APB BIKE WEEK 2000 Expand Messages K.L. G.Mar 9, 2000 I am just getting in from four days of some excellent Southern rock and roll and blues! APB tore it up! Got better and better and on the last night in Jax Beach at the Free Bird Cafe was said to be the best of the shows and with the smallest crowd. The blending of two great Southern rocking bands into one big group proved to be a dynamite combination. The Randall Hall Band combined with a portion of the All Points Bulletin band to form an Artimus Pyle Band of great magnitude!!! With four ex members of various Skynyrd incarnates, and Barry Rapp of the Henry Paul Band, and Sammy Buonocore joining up with Artimus for some dual drumming. The name of the band was suppose to be the Artimus Pyle Band, but over the course of the weekend I heard the band called by all three names: The Artimus Pyle Band, All Points Bulletin, and even the Randall Hall Band. I guess all of them are accurate, and you would at least think that someone at Gilly's could get it straight just once! I just heard that **maybe**, and don't quote me, but APB was called back to Pub 44! The Randall Hall Band will be returning to the Paxon Lounge and Artimus, Mike Estes, and possibly Greg Baril, and another bass plyar may be performing Friday and Saturday night to close out Bike week in New Smyrna Beach! It don't get much better than this! And I don't think I have ever known a time when the APB moniker has been attached to so many bands at one time. It is great when they can bring it together like this!
I'll write more when I can keep my eyes open and think more clearly.
