This is really cool Chris!
It’s interesting to me how much emphasis the actor is placing on the fact that this is “Artimus’ story”. I’m wondering if the actors were coached to say this for their interviews as an attempt to circumvent some of the nay sayers and the attacks that are going to inevitably come from those who think they know better but don’t want to discuss the details and those who claim to know it all and weren’t there.
I am looking forward to seeing how the band members will be portrayed in the movie. With all the controversy surrounding the film, I would imagine that a lot of the preparation that an actor usually does when they are preparing for a role like this would not have been available to them. I am thinking that meeting and interviewing with the band members’ family, etc. to try to get to know the person they portrayed was limited at best. Ultimately, it will go back to this being Artimus’ story. This will not only be Artimus’ recollection of events but also how Arti saw Steve, Billy, Leon, Ronnie, Allen and Gary.

If it was, you can bet that the fans would be talking about it all over Skynyrd message boards and Facebook groups. There may still be legal squabbles over it, I'm not sure.

www.imdb.com/title/tt6744988/?ref_=nv_sr_2?ref_=nv_sr_2Thanks BlueMonday. I was just thrown off a bit as I heard that the court had reversed its decision so I went looking for a release date and came across it on that site. It already had a 6.3 rating out of 10 and had a release date of 2017. I put the link above so you could check it out as it lists the actors etc as well.

The movie is supposed to be released for film festivals like the documentary 'If I Leave Here Tomorrow' was.
