Marcia was hot! I watched the Brady Bunch religiously! Unrelated, my first concert was Shaun Cassidy of the Partridge Family! Yeah, I had to go with my teenage sister so it was not my choice... If anyone cares to read what happened to Marcia Brady, or in real life Maureen McCormick click on this link: Cocaine

OK Blue. We both agreed on Bruce Jenner sorry, Caitlyn and now David Gilmour. I am not a Pink Floyd fan and probably am the only one who doesn't own a copy of Dark Side of the Moon but I was (and still am) a fan of Gilmour. Not only was he hot looking (stunning would be more like it ) he can play guitar and sing. I have always been a big fan of his especially his guitar playing and you have to admit he has a beautiful voice as well. Gilmour's good looks only made the package better.

Speaking of Shaun Cassidy, in the 70's, I remember my sister cutting either one of Shaun or David Cassidy's 45's off the back of a cereal box and then putting it on an old phonograph. I thought that was amazing that it would actually play. I also remember her being a fanatic of the Bay City Rollers also that almost drove me to drink at a very young age

A few photos from the Knebworth festival, August 21, 1976.Thanks Cagey. Backstage. Former Beatle Paul McCartney and wife, Linda, were among the 250,000 crowd that witnesses the entertainment of the Rolling Stones on the grounds of Knebworth House late 8/21. It was after midnight when the Rolling Stones finally left the stage in a British version of Woodstock – an open-air concert for the quarter of a million fans. They played until the wee hours and the crowd was still dispersing at dawn. This wonderful photo of Linda McCartney, Paul McCartney and Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour has circulated the internet and is usually attibuted to a Led Zeppelin show. The truth is this photo was taken at UK’s Knebworth Fair in 1976 which was headlined by The Rolling Stones. The main clue is the description with the below Corbis photo that appears to be taken around the same time and was uncovered by a Pink Floyd message board.

How come you said August 21, 1977? Isn't it 76?
In any case, great shots of Paul.

Oops! I meant 1976. You will have to excuse me. It was hot and humid all day in NY. I guess the heat got to me more than I thought.

I will never forget what Davie said about growing old. In an interview one time he said you know you are getting old when you are sitting or laying out by a pool and you see a beautiful gorgeous woman walking your way only to realize as she gets closer that she is your daughter.

I don't think anyone will call them the best musicians who ever came onto the rock scene, but they never failed to entertain...
