Didn’t Hall have a restraining order on Oats for years? It’s a shame, if indeed true.
I like some of their hits, but dad’s pandora station being played loudly in every room he roams in the house I was raised in burnt me out on their songs, “She’s Gone,” and, “Baby Come Back.” Not bad songs, but they’re great examples of those songs I’ve heard so many times to the point where I almost never want to hear them again. I like their songs, “Maneater, “Rich Girl,” and, “You Make My Dreams Come True.”

Apparently, these guys were never really close friends, it was just a music/business arrangement. Wonder if they took separate buses like the Tribute Band? Or Motley Crue? They HATED each other.

He has a very cool venue up here in Upper Westchester, called Daryls House... ..Live music & he shows up quite a bit for jam sessions ( Made his TV show there,I believe)..

I’ve seen a few episodes of that show. It was kinda fun, actually, seeing all the musicians who would show up and jam with Daryl. I think I remember one particular episode where Sammy Hagar jammed with him at Daryl’s House. I could be misremembering that, but who knows, it’s been almost ten years since I saw it (at least I think it’s been)!

Yes...He had some amazing guests..I believe you can find old episodes on You tube...Even though Hall n Oates were so commercial, I was heavily into them as a teen in the 80's,especially on MTV.....I still enjoy when they come on the radio & like most collaborations...of course they are at eachothers throats..
