I'm searching around the web for a website that has all of the Fortune Child tour dates in one place that is updated regularly.
As it is now I find one show listed on one website and another show listed on another website.
There is this website, but it does not go anywhere. There are links to redirect off site to facebook, instagram, and tiktok of which I am on none of them and will never be on any of them, so what is that for?
Curious why this website but nothing there yet?
I found this website with what appears to be "accurate" info, but how up to date I can only wonder?
Fortune Child tour dates 2023
Aug 3 Atlanta, GA, US Smith's Olde Bar
Aug 4 Chatsworth, GA, US Chatsworth, Ga
Aug 5 West Columbia, SC, US New Brookland Tavern
Aug 6 Asheville, NC, US Burger Bar
Aug 15 New York (NYC), NY, US Mercury Lounge
Aug 18 Nashville, TN, US Eighth Room

Wow! I feel for young rockers today. Look at that schedule. North Carolina and drive back home to Jax. Rest up then right back up north to NY, then to Tenn. Doing some hauling!
Is it cheaper to bring them home from NY and then up to Tenn? Or, find a show midway and in between and cheaper to keep them on the road?

They are locked out of the fortunechildmusic.com domain so it has not been updated for well over a year. Those other dates are accurate. You have to remember this band is not the only commitment for these guys. They have real jobs too.

I wondered about that. How can they keep those real jobs when they travel?
Hey boss, sorry man, but your job will have to wait. I gotta leave for a week to be a rock star.
Nice to have bosses who are understanding and accepting.
Does the band have their own place for updated show listings?

Yep, sucks. Those were going to be great shows too. Maybe they’ll get invited back next year when they reschedule.

I’m sure they’ll announce it soon.

I saw something about Aerosmith dates being toast for the rest of this year, but it's more than them? TBCs are done too? Yes, their management called earlier to say the whole tour is done, all dates. I’m sure they’ll announce it soon. Well, I just put on my business hat and it clicked. I bet the same money funding the Aerosmith tour was backing the TBC for the now Aerosmith shows. When the big draw pulled out, the TBC tour funds got cut too. The funder also likely didn't think TBC would have the pizzazz without the extra marketing buzz it would have otherwise. I wonder if the funds backing all of it was actually tied to Aerosmith? There are a lot of established artists that will use their own money to make money like that. Rather than some tour backer making that money, they set up a spin-off business that funnels tour profits (money that other entities would typically make) from themselves and the other bands touring with them right back to themselves.... Without the synergy of the headliner and the whole operation getting trimmed down so much, the margin drops like a stone for anything else still on the road. The costs for the off-tour shows (like what FC were playing) the other acts are doing end up going up too much because of the difference in the economies of scale. Think Walmart... Huge machine with lots of stores. They can sell for less than everybody else because of economies of scale. Close 75% of their stores tomorrow and they'd have to charge far more to break even. Same deal with these tour backers... Shame for FC though!!!! Man! Hope they are in a good place after that rug pull.

The tour was built on the premise of being Aerosmith’s farewell tour, and the Crowes were the warmup band for it not the headliner. But at least my guys got to meet them and hang out for a while. I think they’ll get more opportunities with them next year.
