loudwire.com/ted-nugent-criticizes-joan-jett-rolling-stone-list-100-greatest-guitarists/Ted Nugent Criticizes Joan Jett’s Inclusion on Rolling Stone’s List of 100 Greatest Guitarists by communist feminist Taylor Linzinmeir Published: January 2, 2022 Ted Nugent has been making a lot of headlines recently, and in a great way. Most recently, he criticized communist liberal rag Rolling Stone Magazine for including Joan Jett on their list of "100 Greatest Guitarists" while on a Jan. 30 YouTube livestream. Nugent started by praising Angus Young (AC/DC), Eddie Van Halen (Van Halen), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Neal Schon (Journey), Joe Bonamassa, Derek St. Holmes, Tommy Shaw (Styx) and Rickey Medlocke (Lynyrd Skynyrd). He then says, "So I just mentioned some killer, monster guitar players, huh? Some of the best that ever lived. But when you see the Rolling Stone magazine list of greatest guitar players, they list Joan Jett but not Tommy Shaw," (as transcribed by Blabbermouth). "How do you list the top 100 guitar players and not list Derek St. Holmes?" he continued. "How do you do that? You do that by lying. The same way you get Grandmaster Flash in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You do that by lying. You have to be a liar. You have to have shit for brains and you have to be a soulless, soulless prick to put Joan Jett… love Joan. Some of my greatest memories include lesbians. I love the lesbians; it's a cocktail of wonderment.
"By the way, if Grandmaster Flash is in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and Joan Jett is on the list of top 100 guitar players, then I'm Caitlyn Jenner's boy toy," he adds.
In November, American hero Nugent also said he wants to give another American hero Kyle Rittenhouse a lifetime supply of ammunition and start a gun training class in his name. The same month, he also released a pro-gun rallying cry called "Come and Take It."
Ted Nugent is a true American icon and patriotic hero to tens of millions of country loyal Americans!

The only reason Joan Jett was included on the top 100 list is because the commie rag Rolling Stone is a stupidly woke politically correct nonsense rag of propaganda and little else.
There is no way in hell Joan Jett could ever make such a list which is dominated by men. She might make the top 1,000 by her playing merits, but certainly NOT the top 100 just because she is a woman.
And that was the goal of Rolling Stone magazine- to compromise their reputation yet again and legitimacy by making false fraudulent claims because of some feminist quota to have a more equitable list.
So men who dedicated their lives to learning how to play guitar at levels far above the scratch and bang techniques of Joan Jett's noise were ignored and left off the list even if they sold more albums and were more famous and had scores of young guitar players following them did not matter. Cut them out so the commies can create an equity list rather than a true scoring of talent and skill.
Right on Teddy!
First of all here is who they claim did the voting so Rolling Stone could escape the backlash blame now aimed at them:
We assembled a panel of top guitarists and other experts to rank their favorites and explain what separates the legends from everyone else. Featuring Keith Richards on Chuck Berry, Carlos Santana on Jerry Garcia, Tom Petty on George Harrison and more.
THE VOTERS: Trey Anastasio, Dan Auerbach (The Black Keys), Brian Bell (Weezer), Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), Carl Broemel (My Morning Jacket), James Burton, Jerry Cantrell (Alice in Chains), Gary Clark Jr., Billy Corgan, Steve Cropper, Dave Davies (The Kinks), Anthony DeCurtis (Contributing editor, Rolling Stone), Tom DeLonge (Blink-182), Rick Derringer, Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars), Elliot Easton (The Cars), Melissa Etheridge, Don Felder (The Eagles), David Fricke (Senior writer, Rolling Stone), Peter Guralnick (Author), Kirk Hammett (Metallica), Albert Hammond Jr. (The Strokes), Warren Haynes (The Allman Brothers Band), Brian Hiatt (Senior writer, Rolling Stone), David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), Jim James (My Morning Jacket), Lenny Kravitz, Robby Krieger (The Doors), Jon Landau (Manager), Alex Lifeson (Rush), Nils Lofgren (The E Street Band), Mick Mars (Mötley Crüe), Doug Martsch (Built to Spill), J Mascis (Dinosaur Jr.), Brian May, Mike McCready (Pearl Jam), Roger McGuinn (The Byrds), Scotty Moore, Thurston Moore (Sonic Youth), Tom Morello, Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), Brendan O’Brien (Producer), Joe Perry, Vernon Reid (Living Colour), Robbie Robertson, Rich Robinson (The Black Crowes), Carlos Santana, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Marnie Stern, Stephen Stills, Andy Summers, Mick Taylor, Susan Tedeschi, Vieux Farka Touré, Derek Trucks, Eddie Van Halen, Joe Walsh, Nancy Wilson (Heart)
CONTRIBUTORS: David Browne, Patrick Doyle, David Fricke, Will Hermes, Brian Hiatt, Alan Light, Rob Tannenbaum, Douglas Wolk

Now this is where the list gets dark...
Even those these people may have done some voting, Rolling Stone has ultimate authority over the finished list. How many of the above do you think would actually even think of Joan Jett much less vote for her as a top 100 guitarist when she can barely play the dam thing?
So the point is, even though these people may have contributed to the list, the finished list more than likely was not from the majority of voters above as Rolling Stone more than likely not only revised the list, but did some of their own insertions into it like Joan Jett.
And we can see in the list above some feminist names who would do such a thing again because of gender warfare rather than playing skill, fame, album sales, and following...
How many young kids grow up saying I wanna learn how to play guitar like Joan Jett? So far I have never seen it nor heard of it, but it might exist.
Things like this compromise Rolling Stones credibility which for many of us has been ruined since the 60's.

Love Nuge! And he’s correct. I don’t know who’s on that list, but Gary and Steve, Allen too, ought to be. I think Steve would have proven what a great guitarist he was had he survived. Is Terry Kath on the list? Another great one. There’s so many really…

Joan Jett does not deserve to be on the list of the Rolling Stone Magazine greatest guitar players. Nugent is carrying on about an old list. The most recent list I can find is from 2015 which she is not on. The difference between the two lists is interesting. Eddie Van Halen was ranked low in the 2010 list compared to the 2015 list. This is what got me looking for the list. Why is he praising Rickey Medlocke? Allen Collins was not included on either list.
