Bruce Springsteen Sells Music Catalog for $500 million CRISTINA QUICLER/AFP/GettyImages Breitbart News 16 Dec 2021 Washington (AFP) – Bruce Springsteen has sold his music rights to Sony in an estimated $500 million deal, US entertainment publication Billboard and the New York Times reported Wednesday. The sale includes the singer’s recorded music catalog as well as his body of work as a songwriter — including classic hits such as “Born in the U.S.A.” — sources familiar with the deal told by both media outlets. No public announcement has been made. Sony Group and Sony Music did not immediately return AFP’s request for comment. Bruce Springsteen is the latest star to reportedly sell his catalog, following deals made by Bob Dylan, Stevie Nicks, and Neil Young for part or all of their works. Song rights are seeing a purchasing boom as financial markets are increasingly drawn to the lucrative portfolios as an asset class. Last year, Dylan sold his full publishing catalog for a reported sum of $300 million to Universal Music Publishing Group, while Fleetwood Mac’s Nicks sold a majority stake in her catalog reportedly for $100 million. Springsteen, 72, has been with Sony’s Columbia Records for the entirety of his 50-year career, selling more than 150 million records.

And it will all be remixed in Atmos of course, so the new owner can restart the clock on the master recordings. BIG BIG BIG money to be made here.

The exact conversation I had last week with my brother and nephew during a conversation they were having about dogecoin or bitcoin they are invested in. I interrupted them and said THIS is what you should be researching and thinking of putting money into. When I got done with my thoughts (same as yours) they both said they were in agreement.

Apple owns it lock, stock, and barrel"
Apple Music now supports Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos.
Apple Music is officially a lossless music streaming service.
Apple Music has started adding tracks that support Dolby Atmos and take advantage of Spatial Audio, both of which are immersive sound technologies.
Spatial Audio is Apple's own immersive sound technology that uses the various sensors (specifically the accelerometers and gyroscopes) in Apple's AirPods Pro or AirPods Max to track the listener's head movements.

How do we make money on it? I have a couple dollars burning a hole in my pocket!

Well Apple for sure, but we need to find out what the next generation mobile device will be and who will lead the charge. I have heard it’s going to have its own immersive sound tech along with 8x video from my inside sources.
