I ended up voting for Billy Idol's 'Mony Mony", Dire Straits' 'Money For Nothing', INXS ' Need You Tonight' and AC/DC's 'You Shook Me All Night Long'. For my last choice I went with 'Come on Eileen'. Maybe I should have chosen 'Sweet Child of Mine' or 'Another Brick In the Wall'. I am not happy with the list they gave to pick from.

Different era of music. Hmmm….maybe I should start a “Your Favorite Disco Song” thread! 😳

I thought it was really strange for a classic rock radio station to have some of these songs on their list. Some of the new wave songs get played. Tom Petty was missing. The Pretenders and Cars were missing. No 38 Special. It was a strange list to choose from. When I think 80's I think "Funky Town", "Tainted Love", "Rebel Yell" "Against the Wind", "Fire Lake" and "Hungry Like the Wolf". These songs were not on the list.

This weekend the radio station is playing the top 50.
• 1- You Shook Me All Night Long—Ac/Dc • 2- Another Brick In The Wall—Pink Floyd • 3- Sweet Child O'Mine—Guns n' Roses • 4- Jump—Van Halen • 5- In The Air Tonight—Phil Collins • 6- Under Pressure—Queen [+] David Bowie • 7- Don't Stop Believing—Journey • 8- Dancing In The Dark—Bruce Springsteen • 9- Addicted To Love—Robert Palmer • 10- I Love Rock 'N Roll—Joan Jett & The Blackhearts
. Billy Idol did not make the top 50 list. Every other song picked made the list. "I Need You Tonight" was number 48. "Money For Nothing" number 20 and "Come on Eileen" number 22.
