There is a small venue about 7 miles from me and after the show a few of the acts would hang out in the lobby and sign shyt and hang out with the fans the 3 most fryndly to me were Richie Havens Dan Toler and the most cool in my opinion was Sonny Landreth. Gosh damn it I wish A P B would play there

Dan Toler was a cool dude! Great player too. I use to do live sound engineering for his Toler Brothers band with brother Frankie on drums. Both were great guys.
I use to have to get onto Dan about how he stood and performed on stage. Not only were we recording many of the shows, but video was being shot as well and Dan Toler would stand on stage and face backwards quite often. And I had to keep reminding him to please turn around and face forward for the camera. I did not care about the audience, but I had to get Dan to think about how the videos would look later on if he was always turned around backwards we could not zoom in on his playing.
He agreed and said he would work on it which he did, but his old pattern always came back around...
