On December 8, 1980, the world lost a great musical talent when John Lennon was gunned down by a deranged person. Whether or not one enjoys the music of the Beatles and John's solo work, he was undeniably a huge influence on countless musicians.
RIP John, you are missed.

RIP Lennon!
I was not a big Lennon fan, but he made music history!
And I can not believe they actually let his killer out for home visits and may release him one day.
He did not give Lennon a second chance so why should he get one?

And I can not believe they actually let his killer out for home visits and may release him one day. I can tell you this, I wouldn't want to be the judge who says to the killer: "You're a free man". If I had to guess, I'd say he's not getting out permanently any time soon.
