That's cool. I figured it can't be the Black Crowes cause they are opening for Aerosmith on a tour that just started...Lol If you look at that tour, there are dates where Aerosmith is not playing… those dates you will find some youngsters from Jax opening 😉

If you look at that tour, there are dates where Aerosmith is not playing… those dates you will find some youngsters from Jax opening 😉 Awesome! Make sure you give them a heads up that those Robinson brothers are assholes. I think that was one of the first issues to bring up. AVOID the brothers when they are seen together. Those guys are volatile. Like twin Ed Kings on steroids plus feminism. You know the diva bych syndrome complete with PMS and holier than thou and their shyt don't stynk and everyone bow down and kiss their asses. Yeah, FC would be wise to try and be as neutral as possible on this one. If Rich and Buddy start hanging out, the other brother will try and sabotage it or cause some shyt. He is always and I mean always just like a feminist and NEVER happy about anything! Can't ever please them. So watch out! I personally think Rich has ulterior motives! The problem with these guys is they cannot be trusted. Just ask Mark Ford. Ask Audley Freed. Ask Steve Gorman. Those guys play dirty. And you can't trust them as far as you can throw them.

It’s fine, Rich just wants to help which is cool. And all of us love his songwriting so they’ll be in good company. I wouldn’t mind meeting both of them and I probably will next month. Been a fan for most of my life.

OK. I knew Audley Free when he was in Cry of Love and when that band broke up, and he joined the Black Crowes I went with Audley into that mess and saw it with my own eyes. It was a bloodbath. Some of the worst I've ever seen. Audley could barely stand it.
So yeah up front you will probably be treated very nicely. But just beware is all one can say. You will see some backstabbing and underhanded behavior from those two. I know those two can help your band gain notoriety and expand their horizons no doubt, but it comes with a serious dark side. When you come into contact with those two, I hope you and your boys come out unscathed.
We look forward to the road stories... And how well they pay...

You know and even if Rich has ulterior motives, so what? Rich and Buddy pretty much write the same and I think it’d be cool as hell for them to work on something together. I’d personally love to be a part of that as would the other guys.

I would as well. Always nice to see something good and positive come from it. All I am saying is don't let your guard down around them.
I hope your boys score their first gold album in a collaboration with them. Looking forward to more great music!
Make it so!

Doswell VA that is where Kings Dominion is located. I want to see Fortune Child never was a Black Crows fan. 4-Tickets front center and some back stage passes would be cool. I will leave after Fortune Childs set
About a two hour drive from the shore

The crowd will hear them loud and clear. And I would think most in the crowd will enjoy what they hear. Except the wanna be hippies maybe. I really can't think of a better band for them to open for. Such an awesome opportunity for the guys.

Not to hijack here, but are TBC still emphasizing the Shake Your MM cuts or have they moved on. I ask as they were doing the 30th anniversary tour for that album and they did a COVID adjustment. Delayed it a couple years. And, they are supposed to emphasize their second album on the upcoming tour. That first TBC album was epic. The loss of Mark Ford and other factors was noticeable with Southern Harmony and Musical Companion. I bought that new upon release and recognized immediately that the material had less pizzazz. Not bad songs, but less distinctive. I ask because I wonder what material FC will be competing with. IF it's SYMM, then they will be competing with edgier songs. IF not, then the harder edged FC material will stand out more. I'm really excited for this band!!! Kudos to them! Good musicians and good songwriters, which the world needs far more of these days! I hope they blow TBC and their crowd away!!!

Jeff Cease played on Shake Your Money Maker, Marc Ford played on Southern Harmony.
I think the tour is them playing songs off Shake Your Money Maker.

Yes they primarily play songs off the first two albums. It’ll be interesting, FC has rehearsed every night this week and they are incredibly tight right now. They will be a force.

Jeff Cease played on Shake Your Money Maker, Marc Ford played on Southern Harmony. I think the tour is them playing songs off Shake Your Money Maker. That's right! Well, Jeff Cease leaving and other factors then... Yeah, Southern Harmony was not as ripened. Still SH&MC sold huge numbers at the time. May have been a false indicator to the band though. There may have been other factors that shaped the sound with SH&MC though. I think the first big battle for dominance started then. Focusing on the first two should generate decent enough ticket sales and will get FC in front of decent sized crowds. That's what matters most.
